What to do in Hunter Valley at night?

If you are planning for a weekend away, there is no better place than the Hunter Valley. Filled with wondrous activities that aren’t just for the daytime! here is our list of activities for when the sun goes down.

Wineries

No trip to the Hunter Valley is complete without a visit to one of its glorious wineries. Although some may think it, wineries aren’t just a day time activity, with many places open well into the night. Try out the four winning varieties including Semillon, Shiraz, Verdelho, and Chardonnay. Even if a winery has closed after 5 pm, there is a good chance its restaurant (which serves all there wine) is still open.

Breweries

If you are getting sick of wine, Hunter Valley offers you a couple alternatives. Kick back and watch the sunset as you sip on a cold beer at Matilda Bay Brewhouse. Otherwise, you can have a late-night spirit tasting, with Hunter Valley Distillery promising vodkas, gins, liqueurs, and schnapps.

Restaurants

Hunter Valley is well-known for its exceptional restaurants, with many which only use locally-grown, fresh produce. With a vast range of cuisines that match perfectly with the local wine, the restaurants offer visitors a fresh and unique taste. As they use local produce, the menu is everchanging due to the seasons, letting you go back, again and again, to try out the new recipes.
