How to get to Savannah Estate

You can get to Savannah Estate by car or public transport. Getting there by car is a lot easier and quicker compared to public transport. From Sydney the drive is two hours and from Newcastle, it is an hour’s drive.

Going by public transport, it is about a four hour journey from Sydney or a two hour trip from Newcastle by train and buses.

You could also book a private tour and go to Savannah Estate, along with two other wineries. Please check before booking the private tour to ensure it is available.

Savannah Peterson is a third generation winemaker from the Peterson family, who is known for their top-tier winemaking at Peterson Wines. Following her grandparents and parents, Savannah wanted to embrace her winemaking roots and create her own wines.

With years of hard work, Savannah and her team have created premium wines and the perfect place for customers to feel welcome as they walk through the cellar doors.

There is no better way to visit Savannah Estate than to try some of their very own delicious wines. It’s recommended to book a tasting in advance, but walk ins are accepted if available. You can book online or call.

• Pie and wine tasting

A unique experience at Savannah Estate is the pie and wine tasting. You will have four different pies that are paired perfectly with Savannah Estate’s very own wine. Quite the perfect place to go for lunch while stopping by different Hunter Valley wineries.
