The number of wineries we will visit will depend on the Hunter Valley Winery Tour you choose for your adventure, but the average number of wineries we visit is three for the day!

Wineries we visit during our Hunter Valley Tours depend on the tour and the day, but we regularly visit these; McGuigan Wines, Cypress Lakes, Iron Gate Estate, Savannah Estate, Kevin Sobels, Capercaillie Wines, Tempus Two, Blueberry Hill Ernest Hill


If we are staying in the Hunter Valley, can we still join?


Yes! We have a Hunter Valley Winery Tour from Hunter Valley that picks up from accommodation venues in Pokolbin, Lovedale, Rothbury, Broke, Nulkaba, Wollombi, Cessnock and Maitland between 8:30 am and 10:00 am.


How long does it take to get to the Hunter Valley from Sydney?


The average time it takes to drive to Hunter Valley from Sydney is around two hours but may vary depending on traffic and other factors.


What is for lunch?


The lunch for the day will depend on your choice of tour, but typically offers you a range of choices at the restaurant the tour will stop off at. To check, see each tour’s ‘What’s Included’ section to see what restaurant or café you will be stopping at.


What is the difference between the Hunter Valley tours?


The difference between our Hunter Valley Tours includes the wineries we visit, the lunch restaurant we spot in, and the attractions we see along the way. We suggest taking a look at each of our tour’s itineraries to see each tour’s unique journey!


Can we take children on the tours?


The only tour which allows children is our Hunter Valley Wine and Foodie Experience, which offers a child ticket price for ages 4-12 years of age. Children under the age of 4 are not allowed on the tour. The minimum drinking age is 18, and a photo ID will be required.


Rather than wine, are there any other drink options?


Yes! On all our tours, there are other drink options during the winery and restaurant visits. However, if you would prefer a large range of non-wine options, we suggest travelling on our Hunter Valley Wine and Foodie Experience. Which offers Vodka tastings at Hunter Distillery and lunch at Matilda Bay Brewery for lunch.


Do we get dropped back to our hotels?


Yes! You will be dropped off at your chosen pick up location hotel at the end of our Hunter Valley Day Tour!


What is the group size?


Our tours typically range from groups of 12 to 24 depending on the tour and day you choose.
