4 Pines at the Farm
Formerly the Matilda Brewing Company, the 4 Pines brewery showcases 12 taps of tasty beer to try.
Their on-site bistro, (the Barrel Bistro,) offers a menu that ranges from steaks to salads, to small bites and nibbles that you and your friends can share. With tasting paddles available, this is the perfect swap-up if you’re looking for something different to wine for your Hunter Valley experience.
The site is a 600-square-metre tap room, cellar door and bistro. The 4 Pines is in a very picturesque location, offering gorgeous views while you sip on a cold one.
12 beers and ciders are poured on tap here – all ranging from lagers, pales, and stouts. There’s also takeaway beers available from their store, so you can stock up on your beer collection back home.
The Valley Brewhouse
This well-loved establishment offers smoked meats and live music at the weekends. Got little ones? With a huge garden out the back, there’s plenty of space for the kids to run around outside.
Offering brewery tours, with guided tastings, and tours around the back of the brewery. There’s something for everyone – with fruit sours on tap.
Ironbark Hill Brewing Company
Grape vines and vineyards border the hops here. For beer paddles with a view, alongside yummy pizzas – then check out the Ironbark Hill Brewing Company. They use a classic German brewing method to create some refreshing and yummy flavours. This brewery offers up classic pub grub alongside beers available. Think wings and beer snacks.
