Renowned for being one of Australia’s top wine regions, Hunter Valley also has some great shopping opportunities.

Doing some shopping in between wine tastings can be a great way to pass the time. Whether you’re looking to get some new clothes, need to do the essential food shop, looking for a gift, or a souvenir for yourself, the Hunter Valley is the perfect spot.

Hunter Valley Gardens Shopping Village

Located within the Hunter Valley Gardens is the Shopping Village. The Shopping Village has a range of unique bespoke shops with clothing, glassware, treats, food, and more.

For clothing stores, check out Southon Styles and Wilson & Hunter, or for some vintage collectables go to Peppers Creek Antiques. If you’re searching for some gifts, pop into Daisy Lane Gifts, byvonne, The Elephant Shop, and the Christmas Shop.

Right by the Shopping Village, there is a playground, BBQ, and picnic area to use.

Cessnock Village

For your traditional shopping centre, Cessnock Village has everything you need. There is a range of jewellery stores, clothing, homeware, technology, and the most favourite, food and dining.

The Cessnock Village is open every day, providing locals and visitors with a great shopping centre to do whatever shopping they need to do!

Stockland Green Hills

Stockland Green Hills is the main shopping centre in East Maitland. The shopping centre has some of your essential stores and is the perfect place to visit for a shopping spree.

Bring the kids and take them to the Enchanted Forest play area, or down to Timezone or Kids World Playland. Also, right by the food court, there is an outdoor dining precinct called The Courtyard.

Hunter Valley Visitor Information Centre

The Visitor Centre is the best spot to come to for your first visit to the Hunter Valley. The centre provides help for new visitors who want ideas about where to visit in the region and the staff helps organise the perfect itinerary.

Not only this, but the centre has a gift shop, with a range of local products! At the gift shop, you can expect to find souvenirs, handmade goods, artisan products, and award winning produce!

Throughout the Hunter Valley, there are small boutique stores to check out. You can also shop in the local cellar doors, cheese shops, and chocolate stores. Don’t forget to check out the local markets, filled with so much goodness.
